Do you cover my part of London?
Yes — we cover most of London. Our core patch is Ealing and nearby West London, including Acton, Hanwell, Greenford, Chiswick, Brentford, Hammersmith, Hounslow and Richmond. Those are our most local areas, not a boundary: send us your postcode and we will tell you honestly whether it makes sense for us to travel to you.
Are quotes free, and is there any obligation?
Quotes are free and there is no obligation. We will look at the work, talk through the options, and give you a clear, itemised price. If we think a smaller job would get you most of the result for a fraction of the cost, we will say so.
How soon can you start?
It depends on the size of the job and the time of year. Small decorating jobs can often start within a couple of weeks; larger projects and anything needing materials ordered take longer. We will give you a realistic date rather than an optimistic one.
Do you only do decorating?
Decorating is the core of what we do, but we are a home improvements business. Wallpapering, flooring, wall panelling, fitted carpentry, media walls, skirting and architrave, decorative finishes and garden joinery are all in-house, which is why we can take on a whole room or a whole house without subcontracting the finish to someone else.
Are you insured?
Yes, we carry public liability insurance and will provide the details on request before work starts.
Do you tidy up as you go?
Yes. Floors and furniture are properly protected, and the site is cleaned at the end of each day rather than only at the end of the job. It matters a great deal when you are living in the house while the work happens.
